I recently took the 100-160 exam and wanted to share my approach. I started with the official exam topics on Cisco’s Learning Network and planned my study around the five domains: Essential Security Principles, Basic Network Security Concepts, Endpoint Security Concepts, Vulnerability Assessment and Risk Management, and Incident Handling. I checked the weight of each domain and gave more time to the heavier ones instead of studying everything equally. [Add official weights here]
I also wanted some guidance, so I looked for resources and found ITExamsTopics. Their free questions for this exam showed me the question style and what to focus on, so I took a subscription. When I sat the exam, I passed comfortably. If you’re preparing for 100-160, I’d suggest the same approach: study by domain weight, then practice with exam-style questions. If you have questions or need help, drop a comment and I’ll gladly help.
